Who We Are & What We Do

Matthew Clements Tree Service is locally owned and operated in Tasmania.

We service all of beautiful southern Tasmania from Huonville to Oatlands, Orford to Bothwell and of course all suburbs in the greater Hobart area.

What qualifications do we have?: We have fully qualified arborists, tree surgeons and horticulturalists. All operators are certified in their trades and have many years experience.

Who are our clients?: We pride ourselves on achieving the best possible outcome for our clients who range from suburban property owners to commercial and government clients. All our work is undertaken with precision and accuracy, we work at all times to the highest standards and with the greatest integrity.

What work capacity do we have?: We can take on multiple projects with ease or large scale jobs, from start to finish.

Job Description:
Remove a large pine tree from a suburban block in the Huonville area.

Difficulties:
Houses surround the tree which is growing next to the kids' cubby house.

Matthew starts from the ground level, working upwards, removing tree limbs as he goes...

Work has progressed to halfway up the tree.

Matthew has been removing tree limbs as he goes, leaving the limbs protruding a small amount from the trunk. These can be used as footholds as he climbs higher.

Now Matthew safely removes the top section of the tree and begins to work his way down again, removing sections of trunk as he goes.

Trunk sections can be lowered down safely to ground level ensuring no damage to the clients property below.

Work is progressing well now with the tree reduced to just the trunk section.

After cutting the trunk to weaken it on both sides, the remaining trunk section is roped and pulled down safely to a clear area

One of our Avant loaders is used to remove the heavy trunk section from the clients yard.

Our Avant loaders are excellent vehicles for tree waste removal as they provide minimal impact to your grass and lawn.
